>MIssion: Complete.

>So I woke up this morning and called the new apt place to ask if we could move in early. The lady said that would be perfect since the people living there have to leave early in May. So Yay!! It all worked out. I'm a bit of a worrier and quite a pessimist so I'm easily stressed. Jess on the other hand is a total optimist. And she of course said " baby dont worry everything will work out." Thats just bugs me more... lol... However, we found out that our pet fee is $300... EACH!!! Eww. So now with the pet fee and puppy shots, I dont believe we'll be eating for a long long time.. =)

>When it rains it pours....

>So today we found out that Jess's lease on her apt is up at the end of June. And our lease doesnt start until August! Great... now what are we gonna do?!? There are a few places we can stay for a month but that means we have to move all her stuff out at the end of June, move in somewhere for a month, and move back out the first of August... UGH. Thats tiring just thinking about it. So we've come up with two plans:

    1. We're going to call our apt and see if we can push our move in date up to July 1st.

  • We'll call her apt and see if theres anyway she can extend her lease a month.

If those plans dont work, then we'll just have to find a place for a month. And end up moving her stuff 4 times. Fortunately all my stuff will still be at the Mom's. Not to mention this is messing with our cash flow since we planned everything out for August and now we have to come up with rent a month early. Ahhhhhhh the stress. But on the bright side, its a college town so they're always sub-leasing rooms here and there... Now we just have to sleep on it and figure it all out tomorrow.

Wonderful.

>Ugh.... Spring. =/

>I hate Spring!!! Why? Because I'm allergic to everything blooming out there. I spend my days sneezing and coughing, basically trying to breathe. Ahhhh. Thankfully, right now im not working and school's out till middle June, so im trying to stay inside as much as possible. And this is making me extremely B.O.R.E.D. - I'm sick of tv & computer games. I could read but Im not ready to be done with Breaking Dawn so Im putting that off. Ahh yes. I am one of those Twilight people. Fortunately, today is the last day of class for my love and she'll be home with me everyday. Now I have someone to play with... YAY! lol... although this could easily result in a lot of bitching and bickering. Somedays its like two caged lions begging to be free. =)
We're going home (parents) today till I start school in June. I should probably start folding all our clothes and start packing but I feel horrible and just want to sit here. Its all I can do to sit up... Imagine having the flu everyday..... thats how I feel in SPRING. =/

Only like 3 months till we can move into our apt!! Im so excited. When I start class in June, we will still be living in her apt with her roommate. So Im basically counting down the days till August. Plus by August our puppies will be with us. We saw them the other day, Bella is white with black spots and Edward is reddish with some black down his back. They are going to cost us a fortune getting shots and crates and of course the lovely pet fee we have to pay to apt!! But we figure they are worth it. =)

>So This is Our Story....

>I'm in college to be a neonatal nurse. I LOVE BABIES!! That is truly my passion. I could literally spend the rest of my life holding, feeding and changing babies and be perfectly happy. =) I'm probably the only person in the world that could be content working in a day care in the infant room and be satisfied. HAHA! But unfortunately that wont pay the bills, so nursing will just have to do. I'm moving in with my girlfriend, Jessica (aka Bake), to our first place later in the summer. She's in college to be a teacher and a basketball coach. She's a total tomboy with a love for sports and I'm a complete indoor, air-condition kind of girl. I cant throw, catch, run, hit, shoot, or score, nor do I have any idea what all that means.. LOL. And let me just tell you, she finds all this simply amusing. At some point everyday, she finds something to toss at me such a keys or a hairbrush just to watch me attemp to catch it. =) We're total opposites. Except for our love of children and desire to be happily married forever. Somehow it just works.

I spent five years with a full-time job that I hated. So I started over last summer when I quit my job and enrolled in college. And I love it!! I never wanted to go when I was in high school, but now I wouldnt trade it for anything. When we graduate we plan to get married and start our family. However, we are sorta-starting a family soon.... We're getting two puppies when we moved into our apartment. They are 2 weeks old and will be coming home later this summer!! Perfect Timing! Its a boy and a girl. (Bella and Edward) They are Chiweenies!! (Chihuahua-Dachshund Mix) We're so excited!

I decided to start blogging after reading a lesbian couple's journey of starting a family. The more Jess and I discuss our plans for the future, the more questions I have. I was looking for any infomation about same-sex couple with families. I just needed to know it could work out and that somewhere, someone was dealing with everything, I wondered about.

Even if no one else ever reads this, we'll always be able to look back years from now and see where we were.

=)
