>Wisdom teeth are a Bitch!

>So today Jess had her wisdom teeth cut out. It cost more than an arm and a leg!! But I got to be with her while they put her to sleep and when she woke up. They gave her the meds to make her sleep and she fought it as long as she could before finally closing her eyes. I think she just didnt wanna be alone in there and she knew that when she went to sleep I would be going to the waiting room. But the meds took over and she went to sleep. I kissed her forehead and told her I loved her and went to sit with her mom in the waiting room. When it was over, I went back there to get her and she reached for my hand and squeezed it so TIGHT.. And through nasty gauze and swollen lips she tried to tell me she loved me. :) Thats a moment I'll never forget. I leaned down, kissed her forehead again and told her I loved her. The Dr explained the surgery to me and treated me like I was her wife and not just a "friend" there to pick her up. Of course that meant everything to me because I was afraid I wouldnt even be allowed back there. But he was great... although the nurses were rather bitchy. urrgg! But we got her home and got her settled. I felt like her personal nurse. I can understand most of her grunts and groans without her really having to speak. It makes me feel good to know that I know my baby better than almost anyone and that Im confident in taking care of her. Her mom even told me she was glad I was here and she trusted me to take care of her daughter. Thats exactly what the girlfriend wants to hear. :) Most days I feel like her wife anyways. There isnt anything gross or disgusting I havent seen. Someone once told me that if u can survive seeing your "person" have the flu or some gastro illness then you can probably survive anything. Well Ive definately been there for all that! haha I dont think that stuff bothers me as much since I want to be a nurse. But at least I know I can handle all the grossness. I think the worst part of today so far was watching her throw up in the car and it was mostly just blood. blahh... but we survived. And shes sleeping somewhat peacefully on the couch recliner.

These are the days I know that I cant imagine being with anyone but her. I guess the fact that I realized this on the hard days with all the gross junk means something rather than realizing it on the special date nights with dinner and roses. HAHA! Nothing like blood and vomit to make you fall in love all over again. =]

>Update.

>So I blogged about this potenial job in an earlier post, well the job called me and asked if I could change my class schedule to fit their needs.. I said I could. But they wanted me to make sure and call them back. So I did. No one answered. For like a week and half.. I didnt hear anything. Then the lady called back and informed me that she doesnt work at the branch that was hiring, she hires for all branches, but she believed that position had been filled!! WHAT?! You asked me to change my schedule and then never call back?? UGH! That was like 5 weeks ago.. this morning I got an email saying the position had been filled and thanking me for my interest in their company. Wow.. really??? A little late there B.B&t!!

Anywho- its been a rather boring 5 weeks. Although I go back next week!! YAY!! Tues (Sept-8) was Jess' 21st Birthday!! We went out to dinner with some friends and her family. I think she was pleased. I surprised her with Disney.s Car.s Plate set, which she totally loves! So I think that made her extra happy!! We dont drink really, but we went and bought some Malib.u anyways lol. And the guy at the liquor store gave her a free bottle of Rum. :)

Today, were going to lunch with my friend from high school that I havent seen in forever!!

>This Time Around

>Im impatiently waiting for school to start in 5 weeks because Im bored as hell. I dont like being home all day, everyday. And I feel like this 6 weeks is a waste of time... I just want to get through school and graduate!! \

This morning I took Kiwi for a walk around the lake, she loved it. She just prances on the sidewalk, flirting with the biggers dogs :p. Its too cute.. Especially when she growls because shes all of 5 lbs and the other dogs were well over 100lbs! Haha. She enjoys the walk but I can tell when her little legs cant take it anymore. So I just carry her for a few minutes... and then shes ready to walk on her own again. I figure even if she cant make it the whole walk, she deserves the fresh air and change of scenery.

Jess started class on Monday, and its so boring here without her. On top of class, she now has practice. So Im here alllllll day alone for the most part. :( And our roommate is gone the same times. Hopefully, I can start volunteering soon!

She loves riding in the car!!

Tired after her long walk! :)

>The Nightly Routine.

>Every night Jess looks up homeless animals online and desperately tries talk "us" into adopting it. She is loving trying to put them all in are small 2 bedroom apt. And every night she finds a heartbreaking story to share with me and plead the "can we rescue it" case. I, of course, want to help and adopt all these babies too but our landlord says we have to pay a $300 pet fee for any animals! UGH!! Therefore, we cant just adopt them and bring them home. She informes me every night of all the animals we will have when we have our own place. She has a beautiful heart and is just trying to save the world one animal website at a time.

We went today to sign up to volunteer our time at our local animal rescue center.

Man, I love her.
